By renting musical gear from Band Barracks, the customer (“Renter”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Identification Requirement
All renters must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the front desk upon pick-up of any rented gear. This ID will be securely held for the duration of the rental period and returned upon proper return and inspection of the equipment.
2. On-Premises Use Only
All rented gear is to be used exclusively on-site at Band Barracks, located at 2922 Plum Creek Ln. Houston, TX., 77087.  Equipment is not to be removed from the premises under any circumstances. Unauthorized removal of gear may result in immediate penalties and a permanent ban from future rentals.
3. Payment and Security
A valid credit or debit card is required to rent any equipment. By signing this agreement, the Renter authorizes Band Barracks to charge the card on file for the full cost of any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment, including necessary repair or replacement fees as determined by Band Barracks staff.
4. Use and Care of Equipment
The Renter agrees to handle all equipment responsibly and use it solely for its intended purpose. Any misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification of the gear may result in additional fees or restrictions on future rentals.
5. Return and Inspection
All rented gear must be returned directly to a Band Barracks employee by the end of the rental session. The Renter must remain present during the inspection of the returned equipment. Failure to return gear on time or without completing a proper inspection may result in late fees or penalties.
6. Rental Period
Equipment is rented on a session-by-session basis unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late returns will incur additional charges based on the standard hourly rental rate.
7. Liability and Indemnification
Band Barracks is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of rented equipment. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Band Barracks harmless from any claims or damages arising out of the Renter’s use of the equipment.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged the full rental fee.
9. Agreement Acknowledgment
By renting gear from Band Barracks, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
